Our approach to Coaching with our clients

We have a core objective of improving the effectiveness of the way in which you operate your business through the application of proven coaching methods applied in both personal and business contexts. At the end of the day...

True success comes from your ability to be effective in what you do, how you go about achieving what you want and the manner in which you conduct yourself.

Before we can examine how to work with groups, teams or organisations as a whole it is important to first understand the individuals who together form those groups. Each client who comes to Superb Coaching is treated individually. We do not have a single process that is applied to all. We will firstly determine what your objectives are and how to best work with you in attaining this.

The approach taken for Coaching is driven by our Coaching Engagement Model which is a methodology that encapsulates a range of processes, techniques and tools available to us that can be applied to individual coaching engagements as most appropriate to the clients concerned. It is a recipe book that allows us to enhance the effectiveness of coaching interactions supporting and encouraging appreciative communications between the coach and coachee.

Coaching Sessions

Our coaching is delivered to you in accordance with what suits your individual requirements best. Before we commence coaching we first of all perform a detailed business appraisal or fact find where we spend time with yourself and your senior staff gaining an understanding of what your business is about, the feelings of those within the business, understanding your product and customers. The result of this is to put to you a Coaching Plan developed around the observations and opportunities identified in your business.

  • We engage a client following acceptance of their Coaching Plan.
  • The Coaching Plan is agreed in conjunction with the client identifying how the coaching is to deliver to the client's objectives.
  • The Coach will determine over what period the coaching should be delivered and how regular the sessions will be.
  • Coaching sessions are delivered on a regular basis and depending on the style of coaching and objectives to be met they will vary in duration. For individuals being coached session will generally be 2 hrs whilst working with a business organisation they will be either half day or full days sessions.
  • Each session will commence with a review of the action plan from the previous session.
  • At least one review of the Coachee's performance progress will be conducted during the total coaching engagement to check on the validity of the original plan and approach.
  • A final assessment at the conclusion of the engagement will be performed of the Coach as well as the coachee.

If the client or coach feel that the agreed goals for the coaching engagement have been achieved earlier than planned, then the number of sessions will be reduced to reflect this.

Each client will have the coaching process fully explained to them at an induction session and be provided with the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the process as they wish.

The following represents the overall approach embodied within our Engagement Model.
